It was that time of year again in the Parkwoods area last weekend. The 11th annual Parkwoods Winter Classic took place on Sunday, February 5th at Broadlands outdoor rink.

The Parkwoods Hockey League house league program enjoyed a full day of  kicking it old school. Teams played their scheduled games on the outdoor rink in front of a bundled up crowd.

The spectators were well looked after thanks to Shauna Duff  (Tim Hortons at 2050 Victoria Park Ave) who donated coffee, hot chocolate and TimBits.

Parkwoods would like to thank their coaches, refs, timekeepers, bakers, sponsors and all of the volunteers for giving their time and energy to put on a memorable event for their parents and players.
