Tournament weekends are one of the most exciting ways to breakup your hockey season. This past weekend,  several NYHL teams rose above the rest and were crowned champions of their respective tournaments. Congratulations to all of the winners and we look forward to showing off more hardware from these teams in the future!

U9 EAST YORK – LEFROY LUCKY PUCK TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS

U9 East York were the champions of the Tier 1 Division at the Leroy Ice Breakers tournament. Congratulations!

U9 ETOBICOKE BLUE – EHL/AMESBURY SELECT WINTER CLASSIC TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS

Etobicoke U9 Blue, led by Coach Jack McLaren, were the champions of the EHL/Amesbury Select Winter Classic Tournament. The team played up in the U10 division and finished with a 4-0-1 record, which included a 6-1 win in the finals. A special shout out to the Finals MVP (sporting the hockey smile above) who chipped his two front teeth prior to the game and still suited up to play. Congratulations!

U18 ETOBICOKE BLUE – EHL/AMESBURY SELECT WINTER CLASSIC TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS

Etobicoke U18 Blue, led by Coach Frank Diamanti, were the EHL / Amesbury Select Winter Classic Tournament champions. The team went 4-0 and only allowed 1 goal against. Congratulations!

U13 FOREST HILL GOLD – EHL/AMESBURY SELECT WINTER CLASSIC TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS

U13 Forest Hill Gold were the champions of the EHL/Amesbury Select Winter Classic over the weekend. Congratulations!

U13 LEASIDE RED – LEFROY LUCKY PUCK TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS

U13 Leaside Flames Red were winners of the Lefroy Lucky Puck Tournament over the weekend. After a tie in their first game, the Flames really turned up the heat and won four straight games to become champions. Congratulations to head coach Joe Kiervin and the entire team on a fantastic performance!

U15 NORTH TORONTO RED – EHL/AMESBURY SELECT WINTER CLASSIC TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS

U15 North Toronto Red brought home the championship trophy for their division in the EHL / Amesbury Select Winter Classic. Congratulations!

U9 VAUGHAN RED – EGMHA TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS

U9 Vaughan Rangers Red, led by Coach Paul Giordano, were the champions of the EGMHA tournament over the weekend. Congratulations!

U17 VAUGHAN RED – EGMHA TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS

U17 Vaughan Rangers Red, led by Coach Oren Braude, won the EGMHA tournament this past weekend. The team went undefeated the entire tournament with a record of  4-0 which included three shutouts, one being in the championship game. Congratulations!
