The Parkwoods Stars took to Broadlands outdoor rink for the J. Francis Cooke Winter Classic on Sunday, February 2nd.

Every player in the league had the chance to play an outdoor game, participate in a shootout, and enjoy treats and free Parkwoods Stars swag!

The Classic was recently renamed after longtime league president J. Francis Cooke, who dropped the ceremonial puck to start the day.

It was a truly wonderful day to celebrate community hockey!
