Arin Otis is the NYHL Referee of the Month for January!

Arin began as a referee in 1987 with Pleasantview House League back before visors were even mandatory.

Since then he has refereed in the GTHL for 12 years, supervised in the GTHL, been the Referee in Chief for York Mills HC since 2011 and has been refereeing in the NYHL since 2018. Arin’s son Jonah has followed in his fathers footsteps and has been refereeing with him for the past 5 season.

Arin is an Elementary School Principal in York Region since 2010 and off the ice, in true hockey fashion, is a total golf fanatic.
