Important Upcoming Dates
You can find a comprehensive list of Key Dates for the NYHL season here as well as on our Calendar. Here are a few upcoming dates to be aware of before the season begins:
The Fall Season begins on Monday, October 5, 2024.
Coaches and Managers Meetings:
The NYHL hosts two meetings across the city. The meeting is focused toward informing Head Coaches with important information regarding League policy and toward Managers for electronic game sheet purposes. The League strongly encourages representation by the Head Coach OR Manager at either meeting.
Meeting #1 – Tuesday, September 29 – 7:00 PM – Westwood Arena
Meeting #2 – Thursday, October 1 – 7:00 PM – McGregor Park Community Centre
Fall Season Tiering
Fall Tiering Form submission deadline is Friday, September 18th.
Fall Tiering Forms can be found and submitted through our Coaches Portal. Teams are tiered for the Fall Season based on the information provided by their bench staff in their tiering form. This will be revisited and tiers reorganized prior to the Winter Season.
Accessing the Electronic Game Sheets (EGS) and Game Day Lineups
The NYHL uses an electronic game sheet system via Agilex Sport Trek. It is the Team Official’s responsibility to accurately set their lineup prior to each game. An in-depth introduction to the EGS will take place during the Coaches Meetings for new Managers.
Team Officials will receive login credentials to access the system as soon as the League receives their approved Hockey Canada Roster.
Select Club Contact
Every Member Club has a Select Delegate or Club Contact who is your association’s expert on all things regarding Select hockey. They will be your go-to rep for any questions, requests or inquiries.
If the Club Contact finds it necessary, they will contact the NYHL office on your behalf to have your concerns addressed appropriately. Parents and coaches should not contact the NYHL office directly but instead, must go through their Club Contact.
