The season of giving has started and some North York Hockey League teams have hit the ground running!

The U17 Thornhill Rebels team invited all of their players to participate in the York Regional Police Holiday Heroes campaign.

Every year, this program supports thousands of individuals and families in need in York Region. The campaign collects cash, gift cards, new toys, new children’s clothing and non-perishable food items, all of which are distributed through the Salvation Army and Victim Services of York Region.

The coaching staff, players and parents should be incredibly proud for leading by example and thinking of others this holiday season.
